“Audition for Murder” presented by Reunion Theatre Group; February 10-25, 2012

“Audition for Murder”, a murder mystery/comedy written by local playwrights, Howard Voland and Keith McGregor (and directed by McGregor), opens February 10th, for a three-weekend run.

Grace Sharp, a retired English teacher, and Doris Brooks, a retired nurse, have an accident on a deserted stretch of icy road. Shaken up, but not hurt, they seek help at an isolated Grange Hall that has been converted into a community theatre; and they arrive just in time for auditions—for murder!

The play is a traditional murder mystery comedy—a group of quirky characters in an oddball situation, a few murders, and a lot of fun for everyone involved. There’s no great message or serious drama here—just a light-hearted evening of high jinks and laughter.

“Audition for Murder” will be presented at the Everett Music Hall, located in the Everett Mall at 1402 Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA. 98208. The theatre is located in the old movie theatre space at the Everett Mall, just down the hallway from Macy’s inside entrance.

Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm, and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 pm. Tickets cost $13 for adults; $10 for students and seniors; and $8 for groups of eight or more. Purchase tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com, by calling 1-800-838-3006; or make a reservation on our website at www.reuniontheatregroup.org

The February 17th (Friday night) performance of  “Audition for Murder” is a special benefit night—the proceeds from the show will be used to support the mission of the Snohomish County Music Project (www.scmusicproject.org).
