The police department responded to 538 incidents in the week of November 13, 2011 through November 19, 2011. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:


 

Vehicle Theft/Warrant Service, 11/13/11, 1200 blk of 84th Ave SE

A 26-year-old male was arrested for Vehicle Theft and a Warrant Service. Officers attempted to contact the male when he was coming out of a house, but he fled on foot prior to officers arriving. K-9 was called to assist and the male was located under the neighbor’s house. The male was interviewed and it was learned he has been involved in recent vehicle thefts. The male was booked into Snohomish County Jail.


 

Assault 4 Domestic Violence (DV), 11/18/11, 10400 blk of Vernon Rd

Charges were sent to the prosecutor for an Assault 4° DV. Officers responded to an Assault 4° DV where a 42-year-old female jumped out of her boyfriend’s truck. The victim stated that after she jumped out of the vehicle her boyfriend chased her down and tackled her. The male fled on foot prior to police arriving on scene. The victim was uncooperative in the assistance of locating the suspect. His address was located and checked with no success. Charges were referred to the City Prosecutor.


 

Trespass, 11/18 /11, 9100 blk of 20th Street NE

A 29-year-old male was arrested for Trespassing. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance and when they arrived on scene, the male was found sleeping on the back deck of his ex-wife’s house. The male was not living at the residence and had no reason to be there. He was trespassed from the property, but he decided to return immediately, cussing and stating he wanted to be arrested. The male was placed under arrest for trespassing. The male was booked into Marysville Jail.


 

Disorderly and Trespassing, 11/19/11, 600 blk of SR 9

A 71-year-old male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing. Officers were dispatched to disturbance call at a bank involving a 71-year-old male who demanded to take money out of his account but refused to show identification. The teller refused him service and asked him to leave, but the male he stayed and started cursing and causing a scene. When officers arrived on scene they contacted the male, who appeared to be intoxicated, and were treated in the same manner as the teller. The male was taken into custody and booked into Marysville Jail.


 

Driving Under the Influence (DUI), 11/19/11, Lundeen Parkway/SR 9 NE

A 34-year-old female was arrested for drug charges after she was stopped for DUI. Officers were dispatched to a collision where the female driver fell asleep and the vehicle collided with a barrier and continued around the roundabout. The driver woke up with enough time to straighten out the vehicle. When officers contacted the female it was learned that she was transporting her 3-year-old in the back seat. The officers noticed signs of impairment, and she was placed under arrest. While the officers were searching her person, they discovered a heroin kit, pot pipe, methamphetamines, and heroin. The female was transported to the Lake Stevens Police Department for a Drug Recognition Evaluation. The female was booked into Snohomish County Jail.
