Possession Stolen Firearm/Possession unlawful Firearm, 04/04/11,700 blk of 87 Ave NE
A 13 year-old male had charges referred to juvenile prosecutor for possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm. A female called to report that she found a sawed off rifle in her son’s room. Officers arrived on scene and ran a computer check which revealed the rifle was stolen in 2008. The 13-year-old male stated “he received the gun from a friend who is now in jail for a weapons violation”. The 13-year-old male stated “he had no idea it was stolen or that the barrel was illegal”. The case was forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor’s office for review.
Minor in Possession (MIP)/Warrant Service, 04/05/11, 2000 blk of 88 Ave SE
Two 17-year-old males and a 17-year-old female were contacted after a witness reported three juveniles at the end of the road standing around a campfire drinking. Officers made contact with the three juveniles and found that one of the males had a warrant and was booked into juvenile detention center. The other male was found to be MIP and was cited and released to his parents. The female was release to her parents with no further incident.
Assault 4 DV, 04/07/11, 12700 blk of 16 ST NE
A 36-year-old male assaulted his mother’s 52-year-old live in boyfriend during an argument. The 36-year-old male was determine to be the aggressor and was booked into Marysville Jail.
Possession of Methadone, 04/07/11, 1600 blk of 131 Dr NE
Officers responded to an assault call. Officers made contact with a 21-year old male suspect and placed him in custody. A search of his person revealed a small pill located in a container on his key chain. The male denied ownership but was aware that the pill was a methadone. Charges were referred to the Snohomish County Prosecutors’ Office.
Persons Complaint, 04/09/11, 11300 blk of 33rd St NE
A 19-year-old female with disabilities went for a walk pushing her baby stroller. Officers got involved when she never returned home. An area check was performed and her stroller was located however Officers were unable to find the female. She was later located by Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies in Everett. The female was transported home with no further incident.
